November
November and the Thanksgiving holiday always leaving me
feeling a little shell shocked, and this year has been no
different. Not only am I reminded that the year has been
flying by and is nearing it's end, the shop is so insanely
busy that I fall into bed each night having none of my usual
bouts of insomnia. I sleep like a rock, bounce out of bed
the next morning, head to the shop, and we do it all over
again. This is a good thing, but I'm always happy for the
reprieve that a few days off for Thanksgiving provides.
I'm thankful for Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for all of our
wonderful customers and the opportunity they provide for
my family to make a living. I'm thankful for pumpkin pie,
family gatherings, good health, good friends, and the turkey
my dad will smoke over an open fire out doors. What's really
exciting about Thanksgiving this year, is that it's only
3 1/2 weeks away from my brother and sister coming home
from Germany and England to spend Christmas with us!
As
we enter this season of thanks and celebration, I'd like
to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Delivery
By Christmas
To ensure delivery of orders prior to Christmas, we are
advising our customers to place their orders by noon on
Friday, December 10th. UPS ground packages shipped after
this date cannot be guaranteed to arrive before Christmas.
UPS expedited (Next Day, 2 Day, or 3 Day) packages shipped
after Thursday, December 16th cannot be guaranteed to arrive
before Christmas.

Holiday
Season Turnaround, Expedited Shipping, & In-House
Rush Service
Sometimes you just need something right away. An unexpected
order arrives, and like Old Mother Hubbard, you go
to the cupboard and find IT'S BARE! Trust us -- we
know how it feels.
It
is with that sentiment that we wanted to remind customers
that while in-house turnaround time is usually 24-48
hours, there is the possibility of turnaround of up
to 72 hours at this time of year. For those times
when you really needed it YESTERDAY -- our cart offers
expedited shipping options for faster UPS shipping.
Keep in mind that expedited shipping reflects UPS
time in transit, and does not include in-house turnaround
time. All orders are shipped on a first come, first
served basis.
If faster shipping isn't going to be fast enough,
we also offer an In-House Rush service for a $10 fee.
Rush orders are placed ahead of all other orders,
and shipped at the first available opportunity. Please
note that rush orders will be shipped during normal
business hours, and the service does not include shipping
on weekends, holidays, or other closings. In-house
Rush orders can be placed from our In-House
Rush page. The option is also offered as an add-on option in the shopping cart.
Also,
we may experience occasional out of stock items with
the heavier order volume typical of this time of year.
We will try to keep the site updated to the best of
our ability, and will attempt to communicate any order
delays to customers.
